The 17 sustainable development goals
Sustainability has been in our DNA since the establishment of AVK in 1941, where one of the key elements of our business, has been to ensure clean drinking water for everyone around the world.
Using recycled plastics, circular economy, sustainable product design and conducting continuous reductions in energy usage, are parts of our daily business.
Of the 17 sustainable development goals, we actively work with SDG6 – Clean Water and Sanitation for Everyone, SDG7 – Affordable and clean energy, SDG11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities and SDG12 – Responsible Consumption and Production.
We utilize RECS certified electricity from wind turbines, in order to reduce our CO2 emission.
